If you enjoy seafood, especially Cajun seafood, you have to eat at Parrain’s Seafood Restaurant in Baton Rouge, LA.
It had great reviews on Trip-Advisor, and we all love Cajun seafood. We also had friends who recommended eating at Parrain’s. Parrain’s Seafood Restaurant did not disappoint us. It was YUMMY! The seafood pasta was loaded with fresh crawfish, shrimp, and chunks of crab. It was also flavored extremely well with Cajun seasonings.
I am not kidding. It was the best Cajun Seafood Pasta dish I have ever had, and I lived in the New Orleans area for six years. I had to try the White Chocolate Bread Pudding too. It is one of my favorite desserts, but I am usually disappointed after trying White Chocolate Bread Pudding in restaurants. I have an outstanding Louisiana recipe for it which can rarely be beaten. Here is a link to this fabulous dessert on Recipes For Our Daily Bread. Anyway, I liked Parrain’s White Chocolate Bread Pudding. It had a touch of almond flavoring in it and sliced almonds all over the top of it. It was delicious!
I was able to taste the dishes my family enjoyed. The fried shrimp was also one of the best-fried shrimp I had ever had. The fresh shrimp was not only lightly battered, but they were seasoned well. Most of the time when you eat fried shrimp, and you are not in Louisiana, they are not seasoned well. These fried shrimp had everyone fighting over them. They were perfect! My oldest son had the Crawfish Etouffee, which he enjoyed. It too was seasoned extremely well and yummy!
If you enjoy seafood or Cajun seafood, make a trip to Baton Rouge, LA and eat at Parrain’s Seafood Restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
