Loveless Cafe in Nashville

Loveless Cafe in Nashville

Loveless Cafe in Nashville has been cooking up their famous biscuits and southern food since 1951.  They now serve over 450,000 guests per year.

The Loveless Cafe serves down-home country food.  Their comfort food will remind you of grandma’s house.  In 2005, USA Today named Loveless Cafe as America’s “Top Down-Home Dining Spot.” Loveless’ famous “Biscuit Lady” Carol Fay became famous for her biscuits.  She has been on many television shows including the Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Today Show, the Martha Stewart Show and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.  The video below is Carol Fay the “Biscuit Lady” with Martha Stewart.  The Loveless Cafe serves their biscuits with amazing homemade preserves.  I was so excited to see they made and served my favorite preserves, blackberry.  It was perfect and delicious on their homemade light biscuits.  I do not get a commission for sending you to their site.  I honestly just enjoyed The Loveless Cafe.

When you enter The Loveless Cafe, you cannot help to notice the pictures of famous people all over the walls.  I knew Loveless Cafe was in Nashville, so I was expecting to see pictures of Country Music Stars on their walls.  This wall of famous people not only had country music stars but many other people from news personalities, actors and more.

The Loveless Cafe is open seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  They have a long waiting list most of the time. We went after lunch hours and before dinner hours and was able to get in with little wait.  If you love breakfast food like I do, you can order it all day long at The Loveless Cafe.  I had such a difficult decision to make when I ate at the Loveless Cafe.  I love breakfast, but my favorite food is fried chicken.  The Loveless Cafe fried chicken and was not disappointed.  They have been making this fried chicken and their biscuits with the same recipe since 1951.  The chicken was hot crispy and juicy just like I love.  I could have seriously eaten several more pieces.  The sides were delicious too, especially the sweet potatoes.
