If you are looking for a Disney Character Dinner, try Garden Grill Character Dinner at the Land in Epcot. The Garden Grill is our family’s favorite Disney Character restaurant when compared to other Disney character meals.
The combination of the food, characters, and atmosphere make this a Roark favorite place to eat. We have eaten at the Garden Grill several times, and our experiences have always been wonderful. If you are looking for a non-Disney character meal, please check out my post on Ohana. It is my family’s favorite place for Great Food!
The Garden Grill not only has characters which come right up to the table for family pictures but also has great tasting food. One of the reasons the food is so delicious is that most of the food are raised in the garden at the Land. You can tour the greenhouses located in the Land on the Living with the Land boat tour, one of my favorite rides. You get to see up close all the fantastic plants and vegetables grown at Disney using very modern growing methods. I took some great pictures of all the fruits and vegetables grown at the Land. I am looking forward to writing a post about them soon.

The tables at the Garden Grill are all in a gigantic circle which slowly revolves around. By the time you finish your meal, you complete the large circle. You have a lot more privacy while eating at the Garden Grill compared to all the other Disney Character Dining Restaurants. Notice in the pictures that each around in a circle.
The endless amounts of food at the Garden Grill is served family style. The food at the Garden Grill is, in my opinion, the best food of any Disney Character Dinner. The turkey and dressing were very moist and seasoned well. The steak was very tender. The mashed potatoes are the BEST mashed potatoes I have ever had. The fish was very fresh and flaky. The macaroni and cheese were warm and ooey-gooey. The Skillet Berry dessert served with fresh whipped cream was YUMMY. We also enjoyed the delicious cupcake cones.
I took lots of pictures of the food, characters, and atmosphere. I hope you get a good idea of how much fun it is to eat at the Disney’s Garden Grill at the Land in Epcot.
