Thank you for stopping by and checking out Disney Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast.
If you are planning a trip Disney World, you have to read this review on Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast and check out all my Disney World reviews.
Cape May Cafe is located at Disney’s Beach Club. They serve both a seafood dinner buffet and a delicious character breakfast.
This post is about Cape May Cafe character breakfast. I will add another post soon reviewing Cape May Seafood Buffet. Cape May Cafe is one of my family’s favorite places to eat breakfast with the characters. As you are eating a delicious breakfast buffet, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Minnie Mouse visit you at your table.
The breakfast buffet is hot and delicious. I noticed that they had small containers full of food on the buffet. They are always refilling the containers which help to keep the food fresh and hot. The buffet included; Mickey Mouse Waffles, Scrambled Eggs, Frittatas, Breakfast Potatoes, Hand-carved Glazed Ham, Sausage, Smoked Bacon, a family favorite Creamy Cheddar Grits, Biscuits with Sausage Gravy, Smoked Salmon, pastries and more.
My favorite things were the amazing assortment of yummy pastries, cheese grits, and the glazed ham. The Mickey waffles were a huge hit with all my big kids, and my husband loved the smoked salmon.
I will warn you that this breakfast is pretty expensive, but I think the price is worth it. The food was good, and the characters brought priceless smiles on my kid’s faces especially on my special needs son Caleb’s face. You will get spoiled by eating character meals at Disney. You can eat and enjoy your food while the characters greet you at your table. In fact, they will not even greet you unless you are at your table. You do not have to stand in long lines waiting to visit with the characters.
My husband and I were constantly watching my son Caleb. He had his back to the characters so he could not see them enter the room we were in. Caleb was constantly looking over his shoulder to see when the characters were coming to visit us.
I am a huge fan of Disney character meals. Another favorite Disney character meal is the Garden Grill in Epcot. You can also read my reviews on Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom and Chef Mickey’s Breakfast Buffet. If you are looking for an excellent dinner at Disney World that is not a character meal, try Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. It is another family favorite and always a good choice. Ohana has a character breakfast too.
We have had dinner there many times, but it has never worked out for us to try their breakfast. Another favorite character Disney meal is the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom. I have not written about it but have eaten their several times. The food and characters, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet, were a family favorite. Your little ones will enjoy the Crystal Palace because they will have their separate buffet call “Pooh Corner”.
The lighting was not right around the buffet. My pictures are not the best.
Disney Character Meals Tip:
- If you are going to a Disney World park, try to schedule a Disney Character Breakfast at 8:00 am before the park opens.
- If you are booking any of these Disney restaurants, I would highly recommend booking them exactly six months out from your trip. This is especially true if you are going during Disney’s busy season like summer or Christmas time. Ohana, Cape May Cafe and Be Our Guest Restaurants all fill up extremely fast.
