Anthonino’s On The Hill is a must eat while in St. Louis? We enjoyed a delicious authentic Italian meal while visiting St. Louis!
Before traveling, we always check out Food Network. We search for restaurants to visit featured on Food NetWork. We found Anthonino’s Taverna On the Hill. The “Hill” is mostly an Italian-American neighborhood. It is full of Italian restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, and more. Italians, mainly from northern Italy and Sicily, immigrated and settled in the Hill in the late 19th century.
I was so excited to find this highly recommended Italian restaurant featured on DDD, Diners Drive-ins & Dives, with Guy Fieri. We love Italian food and could not wait to check out this authentic Italian restaurant while in St. Louis. If you are visiting St. Louis, be sure to eat at Anthonino’s On The Hill. It is not fancy, but very busy. I would highly recommend calling ahead.
Toasted Ravioli was first made on the Hill. It has become the most popular appetizer in St. Louis. It is deep fried ravioli with seasonings, cheese, and a marina sauce for dipping. Anthonino’s toasted ravioli lived up to its reputation. It was truly delicious.
