The check-in counters in International Terminal were easy to find, and the terminal felt clean during my visit. It was not a luxury experience, but Thessaloniki Airport did the basics well: signs, counters, seating, and a clear path to security.

I had a short connection and expected to get lost, but the signs inside Main Terminal were easy to follow. The walking route, gate numbers, and transfer signs at Thessaloniki Airport were clear enough that I did not need to stop and ask for directions.

After a long flight, I mostly wanted the bags to come out quickly. At Thessaloniki Airport, the carousel started within a reasonable time, the belt number was easy to find, and staff kept the walkway clear for passengers collecting luggage.
