Complaint: Charging points were brokenRobert from Chicago, IL | Terminal Facilities | Reviewed April 24, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.5

Several charging points near the seating area in International Terminal did not work. Passengers kept moving from outlet to outlet trying to charge phones before boarding. It is a small facility issue, but it matters when boarding passes and ride apps are on those phones.

Complaint: Lost and found gave mixed answersMala from Denver, CO | Lost and Found | Reviewed July 7, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.5

I left a small bag near the baggage claim and contacted lost and found the same day. One person said it had not been turned in, another said to wait 48 hours, and the online form never produced a useful update. The process at Southwest Florida Airport felt disconnected.

Complaint: Food prices felt unreasonableCarlos from Canton, CT | Food Price | Reviewed January 12, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 2.2

I expected airport prices, but the food options in Terminal A still felt excessive. A basic sandwich and drink cost much more than expected, and there were not many cheaper choices nearby. For families waiting through delays, that adds up fast.

Complaint: Rental car shuttle was hard to findMark from Toronto, ON | Ground Transportation | Reviewed April 24, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.4

Finding the rental car shuttle took too much guessing. The signs pointed generally outside, but not to the exact pickup lane, and airport staff gave different directions. After a long flight, ground transportation should be easier than this.

Complaint: Parking payment machine failed twiceMary from Orlando, FL | Parking Payment | Reviewed August 20, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.5

The parking garage payment machine rejected two cards and then printed a blank receipt. There was a help button, but it took a while before anyone answered. Leaving Southwest Florida Airport on August 20, 2026 took longer than the actual drive home.

Review: Baggage claim was fast and organizedMichelle from Jersey City, NJ | Baggage Claim | Reviewed January 12, 2026
★★★★☆ 4.4

After a long flight, I mostly wanted the bags to come out quickly. At Southwest Florida Airport, the carousel started within a reasonable time, the belt number was easy to find, and staff kept the walkway clear for passengers collecting luggage.

Review: Clean terminal and easy check-inAlba from Brooklyn, NY | Check-in Terminal | Reviewed May 16, 2026
★★★★★ 4.7

The check-in counters in International Terminal were easy to find, and the terminal felt clean during my visit. It was not a luxury experience, but Southwest Florida Airport did the basics well: signs, counters, seating, and a clear path to security.

Review: Clear signage made the connection easierRenee from San Diego, CA | Terminal Signs Connections | Reviewed August 20, 2026
★★★★★ 4.7

I had a short connection and expected to get lost, but the signs inside Main Terminal were easy to follow. The walking route, gate numbers, and transfer signs at Southwest Florida Airport were clear enough that I did not need to stop and ask for directions.

Complaint: Wheelchair assistance was not readyNina from Austin, TX | Special Assistance | Reviewed February 18, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.1

Wheelchair assistance was requested in advance, but nobody was waiting when we arrived. We asked at two counters and still waited while boarding time got closer. Special assistance at Southwest Florida Airport should not feel like a last-minute favor.

Complaint: Departure boards lagged behind announcementsVictor from Phoenix, AZ | Departures Flight Status | Reviewed May 16, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.7

The departure board near the baggage claim showed one gate while the announcement mentioned another. People started moving, then stopped, then moved again. At Southwest Florida Airport, the screens and announcements need to match faster during gate changes.

Complaint: Baggage claim took too longGeorge from Seattle, WA | Baggage Claim Customer Service | Reviewed September 14, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.5

Our bags did not appear for more than an hour, and the screen at baggage claim kept showing the same carousel number. The frustrating part was that no airport employee seemed to know if the belt was delayed or if the bags had been moved. For a late arrival on September 14, 2026, that wait felt endless.

Complaint: Restroom condition was poorChris from Chicago, IL | Terminal Cleanliness | Reviewed February 18, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.9

The restroom closest to our gate in Terminal 1 needed attention badly. Paper was on the floor, two stalls were out of service, and the sink area looked like it had not been checked in hours. It gave a poor impression of Southwest Florida Airport.

Complaint: Lounge access rules were unclearStephen from Denver, CO | Lounges Customer Service | Reviewed June 28, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.9

The lounge desk in International Terminal gave different answers about access rules than the airline app showed. After waiting in line, we were told a pass type was not accepted there. The rules should be clearer before passengers walk across the terminal.
