Nice Airport Terminal & Travel Guide

The restroom closest to our gate in Terminal 3 needed attention badly. Paper was on the floor, two stalls were out of service, and the sink area looked like it had not been checked in hours. It gave a poor impression of Nice Airport.

The immigration line looked long at first, but staff opened extra desks and kept families together. On May 16, 2026, the queue at Nice Airport moved better than I expected for an international arrival.

Several charging points near the seating area in Terminal 1 did not work. Passengers kept moving from outlet to outlet trying to charge phones before boarding. It is a small facility issue, but it matters when boarding passes and ride apps are on those phones.

A gate change in International Terminal could have been messy, but one staff member stood near the old gate and redirected passengers. It was simple, practical help, and it kept a lot of people from walking in circles around Nice Airport.

The arrivals pickup area was confusing. Rideshare, hotel shuttles, and private cars seemed to overlap, and drivers kept circling because the signs were not specific enough. Nice Airport needs clearer pickup instructions for first-time visitors.

Finding the rental car shuttle took too much guessing. The signs pointed generally outside, but not to the exact pickup lane, and airport staff gave different directions. After a long flight, ground transportation should be easier than this.

I left a small bag near the lost and found desk and contacted lost and found the same day. One person said it had not been turned in, another said to wait 48 hours, and the online form never produced a useful update. The process at Nice Airport felt disconnected.

I expected airport prices, but the food options in Terminal 2 still felt excessive. A basic sandwich and drink cost much more than expected, and there were not many cheaper choices nearby. For families waiting through delays, that adds up fast.

The check-in counters in Terminal 1 were easy to find, and the terminal felt clean during my visit. It was not a luxury experience, but Nice Airport did the basics well: signs, counters, seating, and a clear path to security.

The parking garage payment machine rejected two cards and then printed a blank receipt. There was a help button, but it took a while before anyone answered. Leaving Nice Airport on March 9, 2026 took longer than the actual drive home.
