Wheelchair assistance was requested in advance, but nobody was waiting when we arrived. We asked at two counters and still waited while boarding time got closer. Special assistance at Cairo Airport should not feel like a last-minute favor.

The lounge desk in Terminal 3 gave different answers about access rules than the airline app showed. After waiting in line, we were told a pass type was not accepted there. The rules should be clearer before passengers walk across the terminal.

A gate change in Terminal A could have been messy, but one staff member stood near the old gate and redirected passengers. It was simple, practical help, and it kept a lot of people from walking in circles around Cairo Airport.

The arrivals pickup area was confusing. Rideshare, hotel shuttles, and private cars seemed to overlap, and drivers kept circling because the signs were not specific enough. Cairo Airport needs clearer pickup instructions for first-time visitors.

Finding the rental car shuttle took too much guessing. The signs pointed generally outside, but not to the exact pickup lane, and airport staff gave different directions. After a long flight, ground transportation should be easier than this.

I left a small bag near the lost and found desk and contacted lost and found the same day. One person said it had not been turned in, another said to wait 48 hours, and the online form never produced a useful update. The process at Cairo Airport felt disconnected.
