Review: Baggage claim was fast and organizedStephen from San Diego, CA | Baggage Claim | Reviewed January 12, 2026
★★★★☆ 4.3

After a long flight, I mostly wanted the bags to come out quickly. At Albany Airport, the carousel started within a reasonable time, the belt number was easy to find, and staff kept the walkway clear for passengers collecting luggage.

Complaint: Departure boards lagged behind announcementsPatricia from Austin, TX | Departures Flight Status | Reviewed April 24, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.8

The departure board near the baggage claim showed one gate while the announcement mentioned another. People started moving, then stopped, then moved again. At Albany Airport, the screens and announcements need to match faster during gate changes.

Complaint: Baggage claim took too longTanya from Phoenix, AZ | Baggage Claim Customer Service | Reviewed August 20, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.6

Our bags did not appear for more than an hour, and the screen at baggage claim kept showing the same carousel number. The frustrating part was that no airport employee seemed to know if the belt was delayed or if the bags had been moved. For a late arrival on August 20, 2026, that wait felt endless.

Complaint: Wheelchair assistance was not readyAman from Seattle, WA | Special Assistance | Reviewed January 12, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.5

Wheelchair assistance was requested in advance, but nobody was waiting when we arrived. We asked at two counters and still waited while boarding time got closer. Special assistance at Albany Airport should not feel like a last-minute favor.

Complaint: Lounge access rules were unclearRobert from Chicago, IL | Lounges Customer Service | Reviewed May 16, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.5

The lounge desk in Terminal A gave different answers about access rules than the airline app showed. After waiting in line, we were told a pass type was not accepted there. The rules should be clearer before passengers walk across the terminal.

Complaint: Security line moved with no explanationMala from Denver, CO | Security Wait Time | Reviewed August 20, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.6

The security checkpoint at Albany Airport was the slowest part of my trip. Staff kept moving passengers between lanes in Terminal 3, but nobody explained which line was actually open. By the time I reached screening on August 20, 2026, several people around me were worried about missing boarding.

Complaint: Restroom condition was poorCarlos from Canton, CT | Terminal Cleanliness | Reviewed February 18, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.8

The restroom closest to our gate in Terminal 2 needed attention badly. Paper was on the floor, two stalls were out of service, and the sink area looked like it had not been checked in hours. It gave a poor impression of Albany Airport.

Review: Immigration queue was managed wellMark from Toronto, ON | Immigration Arrivals | Reviewed May 16, 2026
★★★★☆ 4.2

The immigration line looked long at first, but staff opened extra desks and kept families together. On May 16, 2026, the queue at Albany Airport moved better than I expected for an international arrival.

Complaint: Charging points were brokenMary from Orlando, FL | Terminal Facilities | Reviewed September 14, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.7

Several charging points near the seating area in International Terminal did not work. Passengers kept moving from outlet to outlet trying to charge phones before boarding. It is a small facility issue, but it matters when boarding passes and ride apps are on those phones.

Review: Staff helped during a gate changeMichelle from Jersey City, NJ | Airport Staff Gate Change | Reviewed February 18, 2026
★★★★☆ 4

A gate change in Main Terminal could have been messy, but one staff member stood near the old gate and redirected passengers. It was simple, practical help, and it kept a lot of people from walking in circles around Albany Airport.

Complaint: Arrival pickup area was confusingAlba from Brooklyn, NY | Arrivals Pickup Traffic | Reviewed June 28, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.8

The arrivals pickup area was confusing. Rideshare, hotel shuttles, and private cars seemed to overlap, and drivers kept circling because the signs were not specific enough. Albany Airport needs clearer pickup instructions for first-time visitors.
