Complaint: No ownership after a missed connectionDesiree from Phoenix, AZ | Customer Service Punctuality & Speed | Reviewed February 9, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.3

Once the connection was missed, every person pointed somewhere else. Airport staff said to call, the call center said to ask the airport, and the app kept showing options that disappeared before I could select them. Nobody sounded responsible for getting us to the destination anymore.

Complaint: Gate updates came too lateChristy from Toronto, ON | Punctuality & Speed Online & App | Reviewed May 27, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.6

The app changed first, the airport screen changed later, and the people at gate D21 still had no explanation. By the time someone finally said the 17:55 departure was delayed, several passengers had already missed the chance to adjust their connections. The delay was frustrating, but the silence made it worse.

Complaint: Staff treated simple questions like a problemAlba from Canton, CT | Staff Customer Service | Reviewed August 11, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.4

People at gate G3 were asking normal questions about vouchers, hotel options, and whether the delay would affect connections. The answers kept changing, and one staff member spoke to passengers like they were wasting time. It was the attitude, more than the delay, that made the experience feel so bad.

Review: Gate agent helped recover a forgotten phoneCarlos from San Diego, CA | Staff Customer Service | Reviewed February 9, 2026
★★★★★ 4.7

A phone was left with the wrong family member during boarding, and I expected that to become a mess. The gate agent at B12 stayed calm, coordinated with the people still outside the jet bridge, and got it back before the door closed. That one employee saved the trip from starting badly.

Complaint: Refund case kept restartingVictor from Brooklyn, NY | Refunds Customer Service | Reviewed May 27, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.4

I submitted the refund form after a cancelled Toronto Pearson to Vancouver trip and received a case number right away. After that, nothing was simple. Each call felt like starting over, one agent could not see the previous notes, and the email replies never gave a real date for when the money would be returned.

Review: Check-in staff caught a document issue earlyAman from Austin, TX | Check-in Staff | Reviewed August 11, 2026
★★★★★ 4.6

The best part of this trip happened before boarding. A check-in employee at Frankfurt noticed a document mismatch and corrected it before it became a gate problem. The process took extra minutes, but it saved me from a much bigger issue later in the day.

Complaint: Wheelchair request was visible but not readyMala from Chicago, IL | Special Assistance Customer Service | Reviewed February 9, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.1

The wheelchair request was on the reservation, but when we reached Sydney nobody seemed prepared for it. We waited, asked twice, and almost missed the boarding window. Special assistance should not depend on finding the right person at the last minute.

Review: One agent turned a bad morning aroundMichelle from Jersey City, NJ | Staff Check-in | Reviewed May 27, 2026
★★★★★ 4.5

The check-in line at Sao Paulo Guarulhos was long enough that I expected a disaster. A gate agent near G3 noticed the tight connection on TR133, moved the document check along, and explained exactly where to go next. It was the kind of calm help that makes a stressful airport morning feel manageable.

Complaint: Carry-on policy changed at the doorRenee from Kansas City, MO | Baggage Staff | Reviewed August 11, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.9

At gate B12, passengers with bags that had already passed the sizer were suddenly told to check them. The staff sounded annoyed when people asked whether the bags would come out planeside or at baggage claim. I would have packed differently if Trans Guyana Airways had made the rule clear before boarding started.

Complaint: Name correction became a fee and a fightNina from Denver, CO | Customer Service Sales & Marketing | Reviewed February 9, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.7

A minor name correction should not have taken two calls, a fee, and repeating the same passport information again. The second agent eventually fixed it, but the first case note apparently was not visible. I spent more time proving the problem than actually solving it.

Complaint: Bag showed up days late and damagedStephen from Orlando, FL | Baggage Customer Service | Reviewed May 27, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.4

We started a vacation with one suitcase missing after Trans Guyana Airways TR244. The desk at BOM took the claim and told us to buy basic clothes, then every phone call after that gave a different answer. The bag finally reached the hotel almost two days later with a broken zipper pull, and the reimbursement offer did not come close to what we spent.

Complaint: Maintenance delay handled poorlyMark from Phoenix, AZ | Maintenance Staff | Reviewed August 11, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.4

After boarding Trans Guyana Airways TR281, the screen at my seat froze and the crew tried restarting it twice. Then we were told there was a maintenance warning and everyone just sat there without a clear timeline. I understand safety checks, but the communication on August 11, 2026 made the whole cabin feel stuck and ignored.

Review: Not perfect, but the crew communicated wellMichael from Seattle, WA | Staff Punctuality & Speed | Reviewed February 9, 2026
★★★★☆ 3.8

The flight was not perfect and we did leave late, but the crew kept explaining what they knew. On Trans Guyana Airways TR318, they gave connection updates before landing and reminded passengers which bags would arrive at the regular claim. I can handle a delay much better when the communication is honest.

Complaint: Meal voucher did not cover airport pricesLenny from Canton, CT | Price Customer Service | Reviewed May 27, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 2

The delay stretched long enough that passengers were given meal vouchers, but the amount barely covered a sandwich at the airport. I appreciate getting something, but it felt more symbolic than useful when families were stuck waiting for hours with children.

Review: Smooth boarding and a clean cabinPatricia from Toronto, ON | Punctuality & Speed Staff | Reviewed August 11, 2026
★★★★☆ 4.3

This was a rare travel day where nothing dramatic happened. Trans Guyana Airways TR392 boarded close to the posted 09:25 time, the cabin was clean, and the crew kept the announcements short but useful. I landed at MIA close enough to schedule that my ride did not have to circle the airport.

Complaint: Staff treated simple questions like a problemRobert from Brooklyn, NY | Staff Customer Service | Reviewed February 9, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.7

People at gate A4 were asking normal questions about vouchers, hotel options, and whether the delay would affect connections. The answers kept changing, and one staff member spoke to passengers like they were wasting time. It was the attitude, more than the delay, that made the experience feel so bad.
